Managing an allotment project provided an extension to my practice with close observation of soil forming processes and the opportunity to experiment with organic material. Designing structures (such as bug hotels, willow borders) to encourage a biodiverse environment within a designated area of land provided a platform to work intimately with natural resources, creating structures that evolve and disintegrate with cyclical weather changes that echo our contemporary existence.

I am currently working on a new body of work in clay that is connected to a more sensory experience of the matter that forms natural habitats and their relation to local resources.
