This series of paintings are an exploration of local spaces which reference nature reclaiming space.
The image opposite has a wildlife shelter located alongside a pathway between Dutton’s Pond, a former brick works clay pit, and Green Hill, an area transformed from an ash fly tip to a diverse natural habitat. This collaborative natural and man made effort provides a sanctuary for wildlife and the local community.

The Sum of All Things
This work relates to a novel by Elizabeth Gilbert, The Signature of All Things, who parallels the evolution and struggle for moss to survive to the nature of all living things, including humans. In this image, moss spreads and relocates along branches to more favourable conditions.
